Introducing the Crow Noir™ Home Candle Limited Edition made for the Britney Spears & Madonna video
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – July 15, 2008 – Lauren Noir recently debuted its newest home candle creation in conjunction with the highly anticipated Britney Spears & Madonna music video release. In this video, an unknown character (Britney Spears) enters the film wearing black pants and a matching hoodie in order to conceal her identity until the unveiling afterward. Lauren Noir was called to make a special memento for this occasion.
Britney Spears loves the Crow fragrance line including perfume, candles, and soap...so Lauren Noir went to work to create a special edition of this fragrance called Crow Noir™. What distinguishes Crow Noir™ from the Crow fragrance line is the very labor intensive process used to create its rich noir (black) color, which pays tribute to Spears’ character playing part of the role “in the dark” (noir). The process starts by collecting the ash of African harvested barks and plants such as palm tree leaves, shea tree bark, cocoa pods, and plantain, then sun drying them and finally roasting them down to produce the desired consistency in texture, smell, and color. Crow Noir™ will be produced as a black soap and a matching limited production 8oz and 14oz size candle. Additionally, this very distinctive soap uses the highest quality, USDA food grade ingredients found in all their soaps, which provide an unparalleled texture creating the clean refreshing feeling only Lauren Noir soaps can obtain.
